Anna Ettorre

Dr Ettorre is a medicinal chemist cum laude and a qualified Pharmacist with a PhD from the University of Siena, Italy.

Dr Ettorre has a genuine passion to take innovative therapeutical approaches from their initial discovery to their translational applications, with over fifteen years of combined experience in Immunology as well as Drug Discovery and Development for small molecules, antibodies, live biotherapeutics, cell and gene therapies.

Dr Ettorre has previously served as PostDoc Fellow, Team Leader, SME for bioassays and single cell analysis both in academia (University of Siena, ETH Zurich, Imperial College London) and in industry (UCB-Celltech, 4D Pharma, Lonza, Metabolon, Oxford Biomedica).

Dr Ettorre is a recognised lead in the Biomarker field. Prior to her joining AviadoBio, she has served as the Director Translational Science and TFM for Oxford Biomedica, leading the Biomarkers and Companion Diagnostic efforts for Oxford Biomedica CAR-T therapy portfolio.
